Gearld Jerry William Sullivan

Mr. Gerald ""Jerry"" William Sullivan, 47, of Advance, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born September 20, 1962 in Oneida County, New York to David and Beverly Lowell Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan attended Holy Family Catholic Church. He was employed with U.S. Airways in Winston-Salem for the past 28 years. He was a very dedicated employee, husband, father and grandfather. He loved working in his yard and enjoyed nature and wildlife. He loved his dogs, Simba and Britney. Surviving are his loving wife of 25 years, Kathy Sullivan of the home; a daughter, Kolleen; a son, Rick Sullivan all of Winston-Salem; a grandson, Chayse Sullivan; his parents of West Winfield, NY ; Grandmother, Lydia Sullivan; two sisters, Cindy Robinson and husband Bill of West Winfield, NY, Diane Blackwell and husband Jere of Richfield Springs, NY; four brothers, Keith Sullivan and wife Chris of West Winfield, NY, Wayne Sullivan and wife Becky of Cassville, NY; Ray Sullivan and wife Joanne of West Winfield, NY, Gordy Sullivan and wife Shannon of East Lansing, MI; mother-in-law, Audrey Amacher of Clinton, NY. A funeral mass will be conducted at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in West Winfield, NY at a later date. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 4:00PM and again from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff in the ICU unit at Forsyth Medical Center for their loving and professional care.
