KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Gary Grover Redding, 65, passed away on April 8, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Center. Gary was born on September 20, 1949 in Forsyth County to Harold and Blanche Landingham Redding. He was a veteran of the US Army serving his country in Vietnam. Gary had a great sense of humor and was dedicated to his family.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Harold Redding and his niece, Lyndsie Wood.

Surviving are his daughter, Gina Wagoner (Marc); his mother, Blanche Redding; 2 grandchildren, Chad and Lori Wagoner; 2 sisters, Diane Morris (Charles Garrison) and Carol Wood (Mike); 2 nieces, Heather Mitchell (John) and Fallon Morris; a nephew, Derek Morris (Krista); 5 great nieces and nephews, Landon Mitchell, Carter Mitchell, Kerington Morris, MacKinley Morris and Ashlyn Elbadla.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Crews United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at church.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff and many friends at Placid Place Apartments, especially Sissy, for their friendship during his residency there.

Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
