Gary Gerald

High Point – Mr. Gary Henley Gerald, 66, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on November 2, 1955, in Christiansburg, Virginia to Gordon Henley and Blondine Woolwine Gerald. Gary loved sports but especially his Virginia Tech Hokies. One of his favorite things to do was to spend time at their mountain house during the summer months, especially with his golf cart buddy, Timmy Caldwell. More than anything, Gary loved to spend time with his five grandchildren who held a very big piece of his heart. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Gary was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Becky Gerald; his mother, Blondine Brooks; two children, Gregory Gerald (Martha) and Amy Gerald Logan (Adam); five grandchildren, Gia and Gunner Gerald and Riley, Natalie, and Adalyn Logan; one brother, Brent Gerald; one sister, Christie Palmer; and a special sister-in-law, Robin Roumillat.

There will be no formal service, but the family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friedland Moravian Church at 2750 Friedland Church Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
