Garland Ray Fearrington

Mr. Garland Ray Fearrington, 67 of Advance, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 1, 1945 in Forsyth County to the late George William and Laura Angel Fearrington. Mr. Fearrinton had retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with over 33 years of service and was a member of the Winston-Salem Sertoma Club. He is survived by his wife, Ann Green Fearrington of the home; two daughters, Kim Hart and husband Craig and Mindy Hicks both of Advance; one son, Alec Fearrington and wife Cameron also of Advance; two grandchildren, Cam and Angel Fearrington; one brother, George William Fearrington, Jr. of Pfafftown and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, August 2, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel by Rev. David Benton and Rev. Kevin Frack. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Winston-Salem Sertoma Club, P.O. Box 24581, Winston-Salem, NC 27114. The family of Mr. Fearrington wishes to thank the staff at Forsyth Medical Center 8th floor Pulmonary, ICU and Palliative for their kind and compassionate care.
