Mrs. Gale Martin Culler, 60, of Clemmons passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Culler was born in Surry County to Walter Willis and Kate Wall Martin on February 8, 1949. She was a member of Clemmons Presbyterian Church and was active on the church's Care Team. Mrs. Culler was a member of Bermuda Run Country Club Ladies' Golf Association and volunteered at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in her spare time. She was a hairstylist for 40 years. Mrs. Culler was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Steve Culler of the home; her mother; two sisters, Janet Edwards and husband Steve of Winston-Salem, and Vicki Holcomb and husband Jeff of Lewisville; niece Beverly Qualters and husband Bill; nephews Neil Edwards and wife Melissa, and Brad Holcomb and wife Candice; three great nieces, Olivia and Kylie Qualters, and Madalyn Edwards; a great nephew, Jayden Holcomb; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Brown and husband Tom of Clemmons, nieces Sharon Culler and Gina Riggins; nephew Mark Brown; and numerous friends. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Clemmons Presbyterian Church with Dr. William Hoyle officiating. The family will be available for visitation following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clemmons Presbyterian Church, 3930 Clemmons Road/Highway 158, Clemmons, NC 27012, Kate B.
