Gail Hines Revis

Gail Hines Revis entered into the more immediate presence of her Lord on Monday, May 28, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Center. Mrs. Revis was born on May 31, 1943 to Wesley Horace Hines and Frances Stout Hines. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband of over 50 years, Delmer Revis, her daughter, Robin Blackburn, and her sister, Terry Hines. Gail was a member of Hanes Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She retired from AT&T . She is survived by her mother, Frances Rawlins; a son, Jeffrey Revis (Debbie); daughters, Michelle Dial (Rodney) and Tracy Myers (Barry); granddaughters, Jessica Sheffield (Chris) and Katie Revis; grandsons, Jacob Whitaker, Zachary Dial, Joshua Revis, Jake Revis, Jesse Funderburk, and Jamie Roberts; her beloved great-granddaughters, Emily Martin and Abigail Sheffield; sisters, Lynn Goodman (Dean) and Kay Gibby; and a brother, Wesley Hines. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Hanes Baptist Church with Brother Harold Fletcher and Brother Larry Walker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM before the service.
