Gabrielle "Gabby" Brooke Ayers

Miss Gabrielle ""Gabby"" Brooke Ayers, 17, of Pfafftown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Gabby was born in Forsyth County on January 3, 1999. She graduated from cosmetology school and was currently employed at Cheveux Salon and Day Spa. Gabby was a second degree black belt in karate and an accomplished wake surfer along with other water sports. She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and involved in numerous mission trips around the world spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Gabby was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Dr. John White. She is survived by her father, Mark Ayers and wife, Connie; mother, Susan White Ayers; one sister, Brittany Ayers; one brother, Ryder Ayers; paternal grandparents, Art and Bonnie Ayers; maternal grandmother, Ellen White; two nieces, Baylee Gordon and Nora Underhill; and numerous other loving relatives. A celebration of Gabby's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Center Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Corts officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, July 8, 2016, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Center Grove Baptist Church Student Ministry, 8750 Lasater Rd., Clemmons, NC 27012 or LifeNet Health Foundation, 1864 Concert Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23453.
