Fredrick Weavil

KERNERSVILLE- Mr. Frederick Todd Weavil, 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at his home in Kernersville, North Carolina after a brief illness.  Born September 5, 1960 in Forsyth County, Todd was the son of his father, Emory Foster “EF” Weavil, and his mother, Paige Idol Weavil.

Todd was predeceased by his father and his brother, Benny Foster Weavil.  Todd leaves behind an extended family that includes his mother, Paige Idol Weavil, his son, Mitchell Todd Weavil (son, Kyle), his daughter, Jordyn Weavil Piche (husband Jesse, daughters Kayley and Paisley),  and his three nieces including Tonya Weavil Isley (husband Michael, children Taylor, Jayden, Colton), Bennie Weavil Boyles (husband Tanner), and Tiffany Lee Weavil (daughter Victoria).

Todd had a great sense of humor and was a lover and admirer of music.   He was a talented musician, artist and motorcyclist and a loving father to his children.  To know Todd was to never forget him.  Todd is deeply loved and will be missed by all.  He leaves behind these words of inspiration: “Be good at your job and love what you do.  Never let anyone get the best of you.  Leave business at work and never bring it home.”

Family members will receive visitors from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel, 141 Smith Edwards Rd. in Kernersville followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2019.  Entombment will follow immediately after the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston Salem.
