Frederick Lynwood Adams

Mr. Frederick Lynwood Adams, 91, of Winston-Salem, passed away on August 23, 2009. He was born in Forsyth County on February 23, 1918 to the late Robert Lee and Lula Payne Adams. Mr. Adams was a member of Immanuel- New Eden Moravian Church. Mr. Adams was a truck driver for Branscomb Produce which he enjoyed. He also loved to go camping He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruby Pruitt Adams; two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his son, Robert Adams and wife Barbara. Two grandchildren, Gail McCann, Dean Adams and wife Cindy. Four great-grandchildren Hannah Davis, Adam Davis, Emily McCann and Mitch Adams; one brother Franklin Adams and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
