Mr. Fred Paul Pfrimmer, 60, of Lewisville, passed away on Thursday March 17, 2011 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Pfrimmer was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on June 20, 1950 to the late Delmar and Patricia Marie Pfrimmer. Fred served his country in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Germany for six years. He received his Master's Degree in Education from National Louis University. Fred was also a blackbelt in Wado-Ryu Karate where he attained the Sho-Dan Rank. Surviving Mr. Pfrimmer are his wife, Ginny Pfrimmer of the home; one daughter, Andrea Emerson (Irye III) of Danville, VA; two sons, Paul Michael Pfrimmer of Greensboro and Zachary James Pfrimmer of Winston-Salem; one granddaughter, Avalyn Emerson of Danville, VA; two brothers, Max Dwayne Pfrimmer and Joe Foderaro of Leavenworth, KS; two sisters, Tina Weber of Leavenworth, KS and Shari Joe Prouhet of Texas. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 pm on Monday March 21, 2011 at Winston-Salem First at 3730 University Parkway Winston-Salem, NC 27106. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 6:00 pm on Monday at the church. The family will also receive visitors at the home on Sunday afternoon.
