Fred Ray Kennedy

Mr. Fred Ray Kennedy, 78, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born December 31, 1930 in Wilkes County to the late Jeanette Woodall and John Kennedy. He is preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister. Surviving are one sister, Rodena Jarvis Macemore of Wallburg; one brother, Lee Kennedy of Thomasville, several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 4:00PM Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Old State Road Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplin Fred Moretz officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:30PM Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Kate B.
