Fred Lee Herman

Mr. Fred Lee Herman, 86, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at his home. He
was born in Forsyth County on April 11, 1937, to the late Rudolph Hans and
Elizabeth Smith Herman. Mr. Herman was a devoted husband and father and
loved to help people. He owned a dry-cleaning business for several years, enjoyed
fishing and coached little league for several years. Preceding him in death were
two brothers, Jim and Bill Herman. Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Pat Herman;
daughter, Tammy Saseen (Rick); two sons, Chris Herman (Sandra) and Dennis
Herman (Melinda); 13 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Ann
Johnson and Margaret Boyles; two brothers, Thomas Herman and Robert Herman;
also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at
3:00 PM Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Concord United Methodist Church
Cemetery with Pastor Mark Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from
5-7 PM Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. Online condolences may be
