Frankie Estelle Baker Flynt

FLYNT RURAL HALL, Mrs. Frankie Estelle Baker Flynt, 84 of Payne St. died Friday, October 3, 2008 at Springwood Care in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Flynt was born in Forsyth County on October 24, 1924 the daughter of the late Marvin D. and Lula Bell Thomas Baker. Mrs. Flynt loved her family and enjoyed entertaining her family and friends; she also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Mrs. Flynt was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Trossy William ""Bill"" Flynt in March of 2006, a sister Ethel Swaim and a brother Marvin Baker. Surviving is three sons Marcus Flynt of Rural Hall, Ricky (Sonja) Flynt of Pilot Mountain and Gary Flynt of Winston-Salem, a daughters-in-law Rebecca Flynt and Patty Flynt both of Winston-Salem, six grandchildren Tammy (Rodney) Johnson, Kevin (Luanne) Flynt, Holly, April, Joshua and Hannah Flynt, five great grandchildren, Cole, Dawson, Addison, Andrew and Emry Flynt, five sisters Dot Swaim, Imogene Weavil and Pearl Yountz all of Winston-Salem and Billie Weavil and Lucille Montsinger both of Union Cross and a brother Talmadge Baker of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Monday, October 6, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. David Bohrer officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The Flynt family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 at the funeral home. The Flynt family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Davey Stallings for being a loving and caring neighbor to Bill and Frankie and to Ken and Faye White for their visitation and their sharing of Holy Communion each Sunday.
