Mr. Frank Luther Towe, 73, of Winston-Salem passed away March 31, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Oconee County, Sc to the late Lester Towe and Leadie Pearson Towe. He was of the Baptist faith and his love was his family, friends, and God. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Towe of the home; son, Anthony Wayne and wife Doris of Winston-Salem; six beloved granddaughters; special niece, Shirley Calhoun; three special friends, Reggie, Erna, and Tammie. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, April 3, 2009 at Parklawn Memorial Park mausoleum chapel with Chaplain Judy Pitman and Lee Barber officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
