Frances Shelton Hendrix

Mrs. Frances Shelton Hendrix, 73, passed away Saturday February 26, 2022 at Universal Healthcare of King. She was born June 20, 1948 in Forsyth County to the late Trubert Shelton and Edna Luper Shelton. Frances’ passion and pride in nursing was shown through a dedicated career as a registered nurse. She would start her career at Medical Park and eventually retire from the North Carolina Department of Corrections. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny Hendrix. Frances is survived by a brother; Jerry Shelton (Shirley), a sister; Brenda Hendrix (Doug), as well as her nephews and great-nieces. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00PM Friday March 4, 2022 at Rural Hall Memorial Park with Rev. Jim Miller officiating.
