WATSON - WINSTON-SALEM Mrs. Frances Lousinda Newsom Watson passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on November 21, 1932 in Forsyth County to the late Annie Victoria Shore Newsom and Howard Leander Newsom. Mrs. Watson was a lifetime member of Antioch United Methodist Church and retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with over 36 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and granny. She loved her family and worked hard to take care of them. Mrs. Watson loved to travel, was an excellent cook and had an extraordinary green thumb. Surviving Mrs. Watson are her devoted husband of 58 years, Kenneth T. Watson; three daughters: Marty Morris (Craig), Vickie Johnson (Greg), and Lynn Winters (Raymond, Jr.); seven grandchildren: Jennifer (Brian), Joshua and fiancé, Jennifer; Grace, Katie, Megan, Melissa (Adam), and Sarah; two great-grandchildren: Jackson and Bristol; sister-in-law, Dorothy Mae Watson; and also, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2012 at Antioch United Methodist Church in Rural Hall with the Rev. Duncan Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Tobaccoville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
