Frances Reavis Steen

KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Steen, 76, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Frances was born on December 4, 1938 in Forsyth County to Clayton and Ruby Reavis. Frances loved working with children. She enjoyed writing and drawing and had a special interest in cookbooks. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother with a wonderful personality who loved to laugh!

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Curtis Steen; a son, Curtis Wayne Steen (fiance', Christy); a daughter, Elizabeth Steen Caruso (husband, Chris); and two grandchildren, Shelby Elizabeth and Abby Christine Caruso.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
