Frances Plitt

Frances "Bonnie" Kathleen Plitt, 77, of Clemmons, daughter of Ed and Mary B. Sparger, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House. She was born on April 19, 1940 in Guilford County. Mrs. Plitt grew up in Mt. Airy and lived most of her life in Clemmons. She graduated from Medical College of Virginia with a B.S. in nursing in 1962. She was a long time active member of Clemmons Moravian Church. Preceding Mrs. Plitt in death are her parents and husband, Joseph Benjamin Plitt, Sr. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Benjamin Plitt, Jr. and wife Chin Chin; Randy Plitt and wife Christina; four grandchildren, Gabriel Plitt, Lucas Plitt, Oliver Plitt, and August Plitt; one sister, Janis Sparger Garner and husband John; brother-in-law, Charles Plitt and wife Martha Jo; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Clemmons Moravian Church with Rev. Ray Burke officiating. Interment will follow at the church graveyard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Clemmons Moravian Church, P.O. Box 730, Clemmons, NC 27012.
