Mrs. Frances Beck Jones, 70, of Mocksville, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Now I'm with the Lord. Frances was born on October 15, 1945, in Pilot Mountain, NC to the late Emmitt Roosevelt Beck and Mary Jackson Beck. She was a member of Ardmore Baptist Church. Frances was the owner of Fran's Harvest Table of Midway in the late 70's. In 1980 she opened Coachman Family Restaurant in Kernersville and Fran's Western Wear Shop in 1983, also located in Kernersville. During the late 80's and 90's she became very successful at flipping houses and later retired from Reynolds Park Golf Course. She had a big heart and doing for others made her happy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene Beck, Bobby Beck and Billy Beck. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Charles ""Chick"" Jones of the home; one son, Randy McCreary of Pilot Mountain, NC; one daughter, Jessica Kennedy of Winston-Salem; a grandson, Thomas McCreary of Pilot Mountain, NC; four sisters, Jetti Manring (Carlton) of Pilot Mountain, NC, Rachel Charpiat (Larry) of Pilot Mountain, NC, Dorthy George (Willie Jones) of Kernersville, NC, and Shirley Hutcheson of Yadkinville, NC; and one brother, Joe Beck (Diane) of King, NC. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Ardmore Baptist Church with Dr. Don Gordon, Dr. Paul Mullen and Rev. Ty Talton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. The family would like to say a special thanks to Frances' niece, Tommi Boger and her hospice nurses, Melinda Smith and Laura Weaver for the compassionate care they provided to Frances during her illness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
