Frances Bodenhamer Motsinger Highfill

Mrs. Frances Bodenhamer Motsinger Highfill, 91, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Forsyth County on November 1, 1924 to Walter Bynum and Hattie Cornish Bodenhamer. Mrs. Highfill was a member of Century Park Baptist Church in Kernersville. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Wilson B. Motsinger; second husband, Gene Highfill; grandson, Ryan Motsinger; great grandson, Austin Motsinger; two brothers, Walter Bynum Bodenhamer, Jr. and Bob Bodenhamer. Surviving are three sons, Larry Motsinger and wife Wanda, Donald Motsinger and wife Inja, and Kent Motsinger; six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; two sisters, Deanna Williams and husband Tommy, Mozelle Flynt; two sisters-in-law, Audrey Bodenhamer and Frances Bodenhamer; one brother, Jack Bodenhamer and wife Linda. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Glenn Murphy officiating. A committal service will follow at 2:00 pm at Holly Hill Cemetery in Thomasville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln. Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
