Frances Louise Pegram Helderman

Mrs. Frances Louise Pegram Helderman passed away December 6, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born April 10, 1919 to Alma Whiteheart Pegram and Jesse Grover Pegram in Forsyth County. Mrs. Helderman was a charter member of Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church. She was also a proud member of the Eastern Star, Twin City Chapter. Mrs. Helderman was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John A. Helderman, Sr.; granddaughter, Jill Marie Helderman; an infant grandson; as well as a brother, Jesse G. Pegram, Jr. Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, John A. Helderman, Jr. (Becki); daughter, Rebecca Boner (John); three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Robert Wiseman officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church, 430 Weisner St., Winston-Salem, NC 27127; or Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
