Frances Guy Edwards

Mrs. Frances Guy Edwards, 93, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Grayson Creek Assisted Living. Frances was born on January 3, 1922 in Forsyth County to J.W. and Samantha Jenkins Guy. She loved to read and to sing. Frances was very faithful to Christ. She loved her family very much and was loved by all who met her. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Handy W. Edwards; one daughter, Linda Lambeth; one grandson, Mitchell Edwards; three sisters, Estelle Brown, Margie Hilton and Josephine Ashley; and two brothers, Raymond and Joseph Guy. She is survived by two sons, Van Edwards and wife Brenda and Tony Edwards and wife Teresa; three grandsons, Keith and Danny Lambeth, and Brian Edwards; three great grandchildren, Grayson, Gavin, and Olivia Lambeth. A funeral service for Frances will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
