Mrs. Frances Whiteheart Craver, 91, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010, in Reading, PA. She was born in Wendell, NC to the late Sidney Clay and Josie Thornlow Whiteheart. Mrs. Craver spent most of her life in Winston-Salem and was retired from Wake Forest University. She was a licensed practical nurse and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Mrs. Craver was preceded in death by her husband George D. Craver and her son G. Larry Craver. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Thomas Hansen, Sr., of Reading, PA; and her daughter-in-law, Jill Craver Galloway and husband Robert of Chapel Hill, NC. Mrs. Craver is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: grandson George Craver; grandson David Craver and his wife Vicki Underwood Craver, and great-granddaughters Katie, Ainsley and Eliza Craver; grandson Thomas Hansen, Jr.; granddaughter Amy Hansen Thomas and her husband John Thomas; and granddaughter Lori Hansen. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Richard Whiteheart officiating.
