Frances Hurst Caudle

Mrs. Frances Hurst Caudle, 74 of Lewsiville, died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Caudle was born October 9, 1935 in Forsyth County, a daughter of Minnie Flinchum Hurst who survives of Winston-Salem and the late Aubrey Hurst. She was retired from Sara Lee with over 30 years of service and was a long time member of Twin City Baptist Church. In recent years she joined and was a faithful member at West Haven Baptist Church. Caring for her family was her first priority. She has been a major caregiver for her mother and her husband. She loved to cook, garden, and socialize with her family and church family. In August 2009 she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mack Caudle In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Sybil Caudle, Donald Lee Caudle, and Michael Dean Caudle; sisters, Linda Foster and Jean Parrish; brothers, Bud Hurst and Clark Hurst; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Dave Washburn and Rev. Tim Wolf officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be at to Hospice and Palliative Care or West Haven Baptist Church.
