Frances Fisk Cabaniss

Frances Fisk Cabaniss, 74, of Winston-Salem passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at The Brian Center in Lexington. She was born March 11, 1942 in Springfield, Mass., the daughter of the late, Robert and Rita Murphy Fisk and was a graduate of High School of Commerce in Springfield. She was a resident of Fort Lauderdale, FL for a number of years before moving to Winston-Salem. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Clemmons and was retired from Bellsouth following 35 years of service. She loved nature, traveling and animals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Fisk. Survivors include one son Brad Cabaniss of Greensboro and one daughter, Gina Cabaniss of Winston-Salem. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. The family would like to thank the staff of Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Care Center and The Brian Center for their loving care shown to Ms. Cabaniss.
