Frances Weaver Brewer

Mrs. Frances Weaver Brewer, 93, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Regency Care of Clemmons. She was born June 7, 1922 in Forsyth County to Esther Allred Weaver and Carlton Vaughn Weaver. Mrs. Brewer was a member of Trinity Moravian Church and retired from Duplan Corporation and Key Auto Parts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Leroy Brewer; one sister, Margaret Burns and two brothers, Roy and Allie Weaver. Surviving are one daughter, Susan Brewer (Tim); three sons, Larry Brewer (Judy), Tommy Brewer (Linda) and Harold Brewer (Lucy); five grandchildren, Christy, Scott, Pam, Lisa and Randy; four great grandchildren, Matthew, Jamie, Brittany and Sloan and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor John Jackman officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
