Foster Allen Hall, Sr.

Mr. Foster Allen Hall, Sr., of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Mr. Hall was born in Gaffney, SC to the late Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Hall on June 18, 1932. Mr. Hall served in the United States Air Force, retired from Lowe's Hardware and was a 32nd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. Mr. Hall attended Missions Baptist Church of Winston-Salem. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his loving wife, Melba Nell Hall. Surviving are four sons, Foster Allen Hall, Jr., William Curtis Hall, Anthony Todd Hall and Darryl Wayne Hall, all of Winston-Salem; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Amber, Trey, Tara, Ashley, Ryan and Meredith and a sister, Florence Pridmore of Gaffney, SC. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, January 22, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor David Keaton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
