Mrs. Fidella Caudle Estep, 92, of King, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Oak Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 26, 1919 in Yadkin County to Pleasant and Margaret Mickles Caudle. Mrs. Estep was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Henry Estep; two brothers, Henry and Paul Caudle; four sisters, Naomi, Jettie Mae, Eloise and Betty Jo. Surviving are one daughter, Jean Stanley and husband Jerry of King; three grandchildren, Jodi Stanley (Rod), Julia Vanhoy, and Jackie Lynn French (Tim); three great grandchildren, Arron Ferguson, Katie Vanhoy, and Tanner Somers; four sisters, Pearl Aslanis of Winston-Salem, Clivie Hutchins (Roy) of Lewisville, Wendy Phillips (Arnold) of Elkin and Brenda Lankford of Winston-Salem; and one brother, Fonzo Caudle (Jean) of Lexington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Friday, October 21 at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Greg Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
