On May 14, 2010 Felix Guy Spagnola passed on from this world to reunite with Our Lord. He was born on December 22, 1937 in Glassport, PA to Lina Di Fiore and Vincenzo Spagnola. After his mother's death, Felix was raised by his father and stepmother Constantina Borelli Spagnola. Felix graduated from Duquesne University with a degree in Business and from Indiana University with a Master's in Public Administration. Before moving to Advance in 2003, he lived for 40 years in the Washington, D.C. area, working for GSA within the Federal Government. He was active at Holy Spirit and Holy Family Catholic Churches serving as a member of the CFM organization and the Knights of Columbus. During his life he celebrated his love for God, family and people. He is survived by his wife Dee Spagnola, daughters Susan Rutherford (and husband Doug) and Karla Frazier (and husband Larry), son Joe Spagnola, grandchildren Carter and Quinn Rutherford and Anne Marie Frazier, brothers Anthony and Vincent Spagnola, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 18 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel from 6pm to 8pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 19 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 3pm.
