Mrs. Faye Marie Wilson Holder, 90, of Winston-Salem was peacefully called home on February 25, 2017 at Southfork Assisted Living. She was born in Winston-Salem on August 22, 1926 to Paul and Jessie Carroll Wilson. Faye was known as a woman of faith. She was a member of Knollwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Holder was a dedicated employee of Hennis Fright for 20 years and also was the owner of Custom Drapery. She had a loving heart to serve others and she was truly one of a kind. Mrs. Holder loved her family and was a role model for them. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John William ""Bill"" Holder; her brother, Paul Wilson, Jr.; two sisters, Sarah Kreeger and Marjorie Motsinger. She is survived by her daughter, Alice H. Tate and husband Tom; two grandsons; Dannie ""Lee"" Fishel, Jr. and Joshua N. Tate; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Knollwood Baptist Church with Rev. Lucrecia Norman officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Knollwood Baptist Church, 330 Knollwood St, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
