Faustino Hernandez-Cabrera

WINSTON-SALEM-Mr. Faustino Hernandez-Cabrera, 84, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home. He was born on March 18, 1928 in Nacaome, Honduras to Octavio Hernandez and Domitila Cabrera. Faustino and his family moved to the United States in 2000. He dedicated his life to his family and his work in agriculture. Faustino was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He had many friends and never met a stranger. Faustino was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Surviving Faustino are his wife, Angelina Lainez of the home; six daughters, Silvia and husband Sergio of Honduras, Juana Maria and husband Oscar of Honduras, Reyna Isabel and husband Julian of New York, Iris of Winston-Salem, Victoria of Winston-Salem, and Maria Del Carmen and husband Julio of Winston-Salem; seven sons, Felipe of Winston-Salem and wife, Rosamelia of Honduras, Jose Octavio and wife Marlen of Winston-Salem, Gustavo and wife Maria Del Carmen of New York, Angel and wife Mayra of New Orleans, LA, Cristino and wife Maribel of Honduras, Juan of Honduras, and Hipolito of Virginia; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Luis Colon officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, NC. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
