Fannie Tilley Minor

Fannie Tilley Minor, 97, entered into the arms of her dear Savior on June 6, 2010. She leaves behind her beloved sons, The Rev. Hal Cole (Joy) and Richard Minor (Doris); her granddaughters Ruth Cole Burcaw (Chris), Kathleen Cole Schreiber (Blair) of NJ, Heather Minor Allen (Patrick), and April Minor Hale (Ken) of VA; and 9 great-grandchildren who filled her years with joy. She was predeceased by her husband, Sam Minor. Fannie was a longtime member of Home Moravian Church, then Fairview. She remained an avid reader well into her 90's and was a faithful fan of the Atlanta Braves. Even as her physical body failed, Fannie kept her quick mind, wry sense of humor, strong will and deep faith. The family will greet visitors after a memorial service at 10:00 AM July 3, 2010 at Fairview Moravian Church in Winston-Salem. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Unity Moravian Church Benevolence Fund, 8300 Concord Church Rd., Lewisville, NC 27023. Thanks to the staff at Bermuda Commons Nursing Center for their wonderful care of Fannie during her last years.
