Everette Wade Charles

Mr. Everette Wade Charles, 94, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Mr. Charles was born September 29, 1919 in Davidson County to the late Marvin and Pearl Miller Charles. He attended Mars Hill College for two years and earned a BS Degree in Math at UNC Chapel Hill and minored in Science. Mr. Charles was a retired Method Specialist with Lucent Technology, with 40 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Witter Charles. Surviving to cherish his memory is his daughter; Linda Charles Cranford and husband Ralph of Germanton, NC., his son; Gary Alan Charles of Waleska, Georgia and two grandchildren; Jonathan Andrew Charles and Stephanie Jean Charles both of Georgia. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Salemtowne, the retirement community.
