Evelyn Jones Waugh

Mrs. Evelyn Jones Waugh ""Paga"", 75, of Kernersville, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born August 10, 1935 in Forsyth County to John Charles and Leona Thomas Jones. Mrs. Jones retired from Blumenthal Jewish Home, and afterwards continued with in home private care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Waugh, Jr.; and a son, Richard Burton. Surviving are six children, John Waugh (Angie), Lisa Shoemaker (Steve), Tammy Simmons (Brian), Tabathia Hinshaw (Patrick), Wayne Burton, and Sandra Rose (Larry); eleven grandchildren, Lauren and Katie Waugh, Billy and Ricky Hamlin, Curtis and B.J. Simmons, Spencer and Sean Hinshaw, Allison Dickens, Erica Burton, and Allysa Hutchens; two great grandchildren, Lainey Dickens and Dylan Hutchens; and one brother, John Jones (Sharon). Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville.
