Evelyn Curlee Teague

WINSTON-SALEM, NC-Mrs. Evelyn Curlee Teague, 88, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Thursday, May 07, 2015 at Forest Heights Senior Living. Mrs. Teague was born on February 16, 1927 in Catawba County, NC to Ross Sam and Maudella Heffner Curlee. She was a charter member of Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church, and was also a Past Matron of Twin City #60 O.E.S. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Harry Curlee. She is survived by her loving husband, Ernest ""Bill"" Teague, Sr.; one daughter, Katrina Oakley (Larry) of King, NC and their daughter, Meredith Booe (Steve); great granddaughter, Emily Jane; one son, Ernest ""Ernie"" Teague, Jr. (Tara) of Kings Mountain and their daughters, Ashton Eden and Kaitlin Teague. A funeral service for Mrs. Teague will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Dan Swan officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family expresses sincerest gratitude to the staff and residents of Forest Heights Senior Living Community for their love, compassion and support. A special thanks and appreciation to April Ayers, Haley Drum, Shoka Gaither, Jessica Henderson, Brady Keenan, Daneshia Nichols, and Dan Swan of Community Home Care and Hospice.
