Evelyn Richardson Stanley

RURAL HALL-Evelyn Louise Richardson Stanley, 91, went to be with Jesus Friday, April 15, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born February 15, 1925 in Floyd Co.,VA to the late Henry and Malinda Stanley Richardson. Evelyn was a member of Believers Baptist Church. She retired from Winston Salem Industries of the Blind as their office manager after 37 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Hassell Stanley; grandson, Michael Todd McGee; brothers, Ephraim and Estien Richardson; and sister, Edna R. Lopez. Surviving are her son, Maurice D. Stanley; daughter, Sandra ""Sandi"" Hall and husband, Vance; four grandchildren, Penny and Sam Hyte, Brian and Lisa McGee, Tiffany Stanley and Teresa Stanley; three great-grandchildren, Spencer Hyte, Bryson and Lanie McGee; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2016 at Believers Baptist Church with Brother Don McGee officiating. Burial will follow in the Richardson Family Cemetery in Meadows of Dan, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
