Mrs. Evelyn Lorraine Gibbs Rosenbaum passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Abbots Creek Center in Lexington. She was born August 3, 1929 in Pulaski County, VA to the late Lyda Inez Quesenberry Gibbs and Thomas Harmon Gibbs. Mrs. Rosenbaum was a longtime member of Northwest Baptist Church. She was very supportive of any sports her son and grandchildren participated in. Mrs. Rosenbaum was an avid ECU Pirates fan and was known for her deviled eggs and chocolate cake at the tailgates.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rosenbaum was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Rosenbaum; an infant daughter, Pamela Lorraine Rosenbaum; and four siblings. She is survived by her son, Gary Rosenbaum (Fonda); two grandchildren, Thomas Brett ""Bubba"" Rosenbaum (Stacy) and Leigh Lowder (Kinny); three great-grandchildren: Lance Lowder, Riley Rosenbaum, and Reese Rosenbaum; one sister, Barbara Schrader; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Ellen Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 noon.
