Evelyn Ruth Motsinger

Mrs. Evelyn Ruth Motsinger, age 82, of Winston Salem, passed away on Sunday, May 22nd, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on April 27, 1929 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Horace and Vada Wishon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Passmore of Pensacola, FL. She was married to Bobby Frank Motsinger for over 58 years. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, a dedicated homemaker, a creative songwriter, guitarist, as well as a gardener. Her past employers included Dize and Hanes. Surviving Mrs. Motsinger are her husband, Bobby Frank, her three daughters and a son-in-law: Evelyn Motsinger of Delaware, Janice Motsinger of New York, Bobbie and Ted Mandro of Virginia, her granddaughter: Jackie Mandro of Virginia; her four sisters: Pansy Cardwell of Oak Island, NC, Merlyn Cooper of Clearwater, Florida, Delores Boger of Lexington, NC, Violet Williams of Mobile, AL, and a brother, Don Wishon of Oak Island, NC. A celebration of her life will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28th with Commissioner Raymond Cooper officiating.
