Evelyn Monahan

Evelyn “Nan” Monahan, 99, passed away at home Saturday, July 17, 2021.  She was born August 21, 1921, in Middlesex, Co., MA to the late Alphonse and Mildred Cadorette.  Evelyn lived a very full and active life, swimming, dancing, speed walking and even paragliding.  She was also an avid reader.  Evelyn retired from the Eden Roc Hotel, in Miami Beach, Fl. With 30 years of service as reservation manager.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sisters, Mildred “Billie” and Phyllis and her brother, Robert “Bobby”.  Ms. Monahan is survived by her daughter, Susan Marks; two grandchildren, Alan Marks, and Diane Marks (Steven); great grandchild, Zachary Marks; and six nieces and nephews: Robert, Jr. (Janet), Robin (Richard), Patty (Rodney), Susan, Nancy, and Scott.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
