Evelyn Rhyne Groce

Evelyn Rhyne Groce, faithful member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, passed away August 4, 2013. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Groce, and is survived by her daughter Ann Groce, and granddaughters Ariel Welt and Carrie Welt. Also surviving are an aunt Ruth Gambil; an uncle Ralph Martin; ten siblings: Franc Collins, Bill Rhyne, Nancy Williams, Ruby Alexander, Jim Rhyne, Trixie Darnell, Gayle Wells, Charles Rhyne, Kathy Wagoner, and Elaine Groce, and their families. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Robin Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1130 Jonestown Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to the favorite charity of the donor's choice.
