Eva Marie Brewer Tuttle, 83, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Eva was born on September 9, 1938 in Forsyth County to the late James Edward Brewer and Nannie Pearl Phelps Brewer. She was a longtime member of Griffith Baptist Church. Eva was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed shopping at flea markets and thrift stores. She enjoyed gardening and was a huge fan of Elvis Pressley. Eva had a green thumb and had a beautiful plant and flower collection. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sabrina Tate; great-grandson, Elijah Manness; brother, Paul “Butch” Edward Brewer; brother-in-law, Raymond Freeman; and two nephews. Surviving family includes her husband of 57 years, Wiley E. Tuttle; sons, Bradley Tuttle (Lynda) of Yadkinville and Keith Tuttle (Stephanie) of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Monica, Jacob, Mason and Dylan; great-grandchild, Canaan; siblings, Jim Brewer (Gail), Eula Sapp (Gary) and Irene Freeman; sister-in-law, Barbara Brewer; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Griffith Baptist Church, with Pastor Bobby Vaughan and Pastor Zach Decker officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
