Mrs. Eva Livengood Ranson, 90, of Winston-Salem died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 12, 1925 in Yadkin County, the daughter of the late, Thomas and Nellie Wilkins Livengood. Mrs. Ranson was a member of the local chapter of the Tole Painter's Guild. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, T. V. Ranson; her daughter, Wanda Gail Wood; six brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include one son, Roger Wood and wife, Brenda; one granddaughter, Lori Hill and husband, Jon; one great granddaughter, Jordyn Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway. A private family graveside service will be conducted at Forsyth Memorial Park.
