Mrs. Eva Christine Wilson Hill, 86, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Forsyth County on February 3, 1923 to the late William Henry Wilson and Cora Griffith Wilson. Mrs. Hill was a member of Old Time Baptist Church in King and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Monroe Hill, a daughter, Shirley Hill Motsinger, two grandsons and three brothers. Mrs. Hill is survived by a daughter, Brenda Motsinger and husband James of Winston-Salem, two sons, William Hill and wife Joyce of Winston-Salem and Wayne Hill and wife Donna of Wilmington, 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mary King of King and Minnie Lou Boger of Clayton. She is also survived by a very special granddaughter, Trish Maranville of King and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Tommy Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening Oct. 27, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to; Old Time Baptist Church, P.O. Box 68, Tobaccoville, NC 27050. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Brian Center for all of the love and care shown to their mother and grandmother over the last several years.
