Eva Fletcher

Eva was born Jan. 31st, 1950, in Winston-Salem, NC to Florina and Guy Canter.  She spent her childhood and adult life in Winston-Salem and surrounding areas.  She had a wonderful childhood and filled her time playing with her older brother.  On Christmas day in 1975 Eva became a mother and her life was welcomely consumed by all things related to her son. For many years she worked at the Register of Deeds office.  For the last five years she was a resident at Salem Terrace Assisted Living.  She was preceded in death by her father and her mother.  Eva is survived by her son (Matthew), his wife (Jennifer) and her five grandchildren: Tyler, Ryan, Ella Grace, Landon and Harper as well as her brother Tony and his wife Jeannine.  A private graveside service will be held at Walkertown Gardens of Memory with Rev. John Bishop officiating.
