Eula Potts Ledford

Mrs. Eula Lee ""Nook"" Potts Ledford, 83 of Advance, died Saturday, August 1, 2009. She was born February 16, 1926 in Davie County to the late Solomon and Ida Jane Hendrix Potts. Mrs. Ledford was a member of Advance First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Ford Ledford; four brothers, John, Frank, George and Paul Potts and five sisters, Modell Hunt, Atlea Cornatzer, Lizzie Frye, Ruby Ledford and Madaline Joyner. She is survived by two brothers, Vestal Potts and Robert ""Bo"" Potts and wife Mona both of Advance and several Nieces and Nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Advance First Baptist Church by Rev. David Benton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Monday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
