Eula Covert

Eula Mae Covert,90, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2008 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro. Eula, wife of the late Charles Wesley Covert, was born April 5, 1918. She was preceded in death her parents, David and Sarah Hudson and eight brothers and two sisters. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her late husband's children, Wilbur and Dianne Covert of Greensboro. Left to cherish her memory is a nephew that she raised as her son, John P. Redwine III. Johnny has always thought of his special ""Aunt A"" as his mother and grandmother to his five children. They, too, have fond memories of Aunt A. She also leaves a very special friend and neighbor, Lenoir Darnell, who gave many hours of service and tireless energy in caring for her. Viewing will be 2-4 pm on Sunday, the 28th at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Silas Creek. A graveside service will be held Monday at 2pm at Guilford Memorial Cemetery in Greensboro. Eula and Wesley Covert were loyal supporters of St. Judes Children's Hospital
