Mr. Eugene Wilson Foster, age 82 of King passed away April 18, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Foster was born in Davie County, July 3, 1934 to Ruben Foster and Floella Tutterow Foster. He was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church in King, a veteran of the United States Marine Corp., retired from Piedmont Airlines with 43 years of service, worked 25 years with the Winston-Salem Journal and loved playing golf and spending time at the YMCA in King. Eugene's wishes were to be an Anatomical Gift to the Wake Forest School of Medicine. In addition to his parents Eugene was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Faith Talbert, one brother, Wayne Foster, a baby sister, and one step-son, Michael Bulin. Mr. Foster is survived by his wife, Jacki Scheib-Foster. Two daughters, Joan Kendrick and Katherine Oswald. One son, Randall Foster, one step-son, Larry Foster, eight granddaughters; Charity Tilley, Staci Kvak, Kylene, Kim and Stephanie Oswald, Jennifer Bulin, Bridgette Beaver, and Brooke Foster. Five great-grandchildren, one brother, Joel Foster and several nieces and nephews. There is no formal service scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers the family request that all memorials be made to the Wounded Warriors Project of Colorado Springs, Suite 400, 1 Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
