Eugene Allison, Jr.

Mr. Eugene Victor Allison, Jr., 88, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.

Eugene was born April 14, 1929 in Clinton Co., PA to Eugene Allison, Sr. and Ruth Whittier Allison. He served in the US Air Force during WWII, where he flew many missions in Germany. Eugene worked for many years as a railroad conductor. After retirement, he worked for the local Bi-Lo Grocery Store where he made many friends. He also loved to feed the birds in his yard and watch them as they ate and played.

Eugene is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Agnes Dunn Allison; sons, Brian Allison and David Allison and his wife Susan; grandchildren, Ashley Allison, David Ryan Aliison, and Ross Allison; and brother, Gordon Allison.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 6:30 PM at Triad Christian Fellowship, 2378 Darwick Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
