Etta Belle Smith

GREENSBORO - Etta Belle Smith, 69, died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at her home. Etta was born on February 19, 1945 in Guilford County to Allan and Rachel Bennett Stanley. Etta enjoyed bowling but most of all loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Etta was preceded in death by her daughter, Gloria Smith Jarvis.

Surviving are her son, Kelly Smith; grandchildren, Misty Decker (Jon), Brandon Smith and Samantha Smith; great grandchildren, Marcos Balderas, Dallas Smith and Addison Decker; three brothers, Gene, Marvin and Alfred Stanley; three sisters, Judy Hooker, Olene Shotwell and Patsy Williams.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Westminster Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, at the family home. For more information contact the home at 336-644-7786. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
