Etta Mae Dull James

KERNERSVILLE - Etta Mae Dull James, 81, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Mountain Valley Living Center. She was born October 31, 1927 in Forsyth Co. to the late Lewis Warren and Henrietta McKnight Dull. Mae was of the Baptist faith. She retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. after 38 years of employment. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Walter James in 1998; one sister, Mary Ruth Dull; and one brother, Lewis Dull, Jr. Surviving are her son, Donald Ray Dull and wife Diane of Winston-Salem; two nieces, Carolyn Hunt, and Lavada June; and one nephew, Connelly Dull. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, December 19, 2008 at Hayworth Miller Cain Funeral Home in Kernersville with the Rev. Brandon Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Living Center, 1135 Taylor Rd., Westfield, NC 27053.
